ST. MARTIN'S DAY IN ROGAŠKA SLATINA 2025

A Celebration of Wine, Music and Joy

On Saturday, 8 November 2025, Rogaška Slatina will come alive in the rhythm of wine, tradition, and good cheer.
The spa town will transform into a vibrant stage of Martinmas festivities – from a market of local delicacies to the ceremonial blessing of the young wine and an evening of music and dance.

EVENT PROGRAMME

15:00–18:00 | European Square – Martinmas Market
The celebration begins with a rich Martinmas market, where you can taste local culinary specialties, enjoy selected wines, and admire unique handmade products by local artisans.

Festive atmosphere provided by:

• Wind Orchestra of the Steklarna Rogaška Musicians’ Association

• Simon Plemenitaš Music School

• Folklore Society Minerali

17:00–18:00 | Restaurant Sonce / Vina Mijošek – Blessing of the Must
At the descendant of the Old Vine from Maribor, a ceremonial blessing of the must will take place – the symbolic moment when must becomes wine.
The event will be enriched by the Cultural Society Vitis.
A guided tour of the Vina Mijošek wine cellar and wine tasting at the Wine Fountain will follow.

18:00–22:00 | Crystal Tower – Martinmas Celebration with Ansambel Pajdaši
To conclude the festive day, the Pajdaši Ensemble will provide lively music and a joyful atmosphere lasting into the late evening hours.
Local caterers will provide food and drinks.

Participation at all venues is free of charge.
A refundable glass deposit of €5.00 applies and will be returned upon the return of the glass.
